Position: CAD / Mechanical Design Writer - Engineering FRQ Type:Contract Compensation:$85/hour Location:Remote
Role Responsibilities
Author original, free-response engineering problems grounded in real industry scenarios.
Write complete expert-level solutions for each problem.
Validate difficulty by running problems against three frontier language models until at least one fails.
Collaborate with AI research teams to improve training data quality and downstream performance.
Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
Qualifications
Must-Have
PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Industrial Design.
5+ years of hands-on professional/industry experience in production design roles.
Experience owning designs through GD&T, tolerance stacks, DFM, and drawing release.
Preferred
CSWP/CSWE certification.
Experience with well-known/blue-chip employers.
