We are hiring a Clinical Supervisor to join our dynamic team of Counselors. In this role, you will be responsible for the staff supervision of 10 mental health counselors, some training, and maintaining compliance with state regulations. Your leadership will help enhance counselors' proficiencies, support participant placements, and ensure culturally relevant services are provided. The pay for this position is $50 - $60 an hour, depending on experience. This role is part-time and can be performed remotely or in office.
Requirements
- Enhances counselor’s proficiencies using a competency-based model that provides a framework for understanding, learning, and implementing the Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes of Professional Practice in all clinical areas.
- Directly supervises assigned staff including interns and provides regular, documented individual supervision in accordance with WAC (Washington Administrative Code) requirements.
- Monitors documentation of clinical work to assure requirements for reporting to funding and referral sources are met Assures the program meets contract requirements and is in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conducts file reviews and appropriate sign-offs for designated staff and monitors WAC compliance at the micro (individual) level. Assures that all participant files are maintained in a professional and efficient manner according to procedures outlined in THS clinical manuals and consistent with applicable WAC (Washington Administrative Code), RCW’s (Revised Code of Washington), and CARF standards.
- Ensures that culturally relevant services are provided to all participants.
- Participates in all required meetings, trainings, supervisions, and consultations. Conducts weekly case staffing for assigned supervisees.
- Responsible for identifying and addressing issues and seeking solutions that enhance the internal operations of the department, based upon established policies and procedures.
- Participates as part of multi-disciplinary team in admission, treatment, and discharge decisions. Reviews each discharge.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Licensed as a LICSW
- WA state approved clinical supervisor with a minimum of 2 years of experience
- Knowledgeable or ability to learn about Medicaid requirements, MH billing processes, and WA state MH treatment and documentation requirements
- Demonstrated experience working with and maintaining positive relationships with a diverse group of participants, co-workers, and community service providers.
- Demonstrate cultural humility in clinical work and interactions with THS staff and external individuals and agencies.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to learn and adapt to new electronic record systems relevant to the organization's operations, including Microsoft Outlook and Word.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing environments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
