Job Title: Mid-Level Technical Writer
Work Location: Ft. Collins, CO or Remote

Alpha Omega is seeking a talented Mid-Level Technical Writer with at least 3 years of experience and an Associate's degree to join our team. The Technical Writer will assist in applying common best practices for the industry to customers by utilizing a knowledge base to create conceptual business models and identify relevant issues and considerations in selecting application software packages. This role involves assessing the operational and functional baseline of organizations and defining the direction and strategy for engagements, ensuring organizational needs are addressed. The ideal candidate will have experience identifying information technology inadequacies, generating functional area strategies for enhanced IT operations, and participating in strategic assessments and design reviews.
Responsibilities:
- Apply common best practices for the industry to customers using a knowledge base to create conceptual business models and identify relevant issues in selecting application software packages.
- Assess the operational and functional baseline of organizations and define the direction and strategy for engagements.
- Identify information technology inadequacies and deficiencies affecting functional areas' ability to support organizational goals.
- Generate functional area strategies for enhanced IT operations in a cross-functional area mode throughout the organization.
- Participate in account strategy sessions, strategic assessments, and design reviews to validate enterprise approach and associated work products.
- Coordinate the resolution of highly complex problems and tasks.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Technical Writer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in creating conceptual business models and identifying issues in selecting application software packages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assess organizational needs and define strategies for engagement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Certification in technical writing or related areas.
- Experience in strategic assessments and design reviews.
- Familiarity with information technology best practices and industry standards.
