We are looking for a Mobile ChannelsSolutions Architect based in one of our Hubs in Boadilla del Monte, Cantabria, Málaga y Portugal, with at least 5 years of experience in Mobile Solution Architecture.

Your role
Solutions Architecture is part of the Architecture Team within Santander UK Services. You will work closely with other architecture teams (Enterprise, Cloud, Technical, Data & Security Architecture) and liaises with Business and IT colleagues in Santander UK as well as Santander Global/Group Architecture.
The team concentrates on the functional architecture of applications and how they interact with other systems in the Architecture Landscape of Santander UK, Group and 3rd Parties. The team effectively works as an Architecture Community across domains sharing reusable patterns and solutions learnt on projects, independently of projects and domains.
Your main tasks will be:
Be embedded into the functional domain, balancing business requirements with functional & technical strategy to ensure we deliver sustainable solutions.
Working with Enterprise and Solution Architects in the required domains and cross domain spaces to understand the roadmaps, strategies and solutions.
What you’ll bring

Be experienced in IT Systems Design and Solutions Architecture with strong Financial Institution knowledge - Retail or Corporate - in the following areas:
Strong domain driven design, with knowledge of the BIAN framework, TOGAF, ArchiMate and API & microservice architecture solutions, using tool such as Avolution Abacu.
Proven experience in defining & documenting complex As_Is & Target Architecture Solutions defining services & integrated applications working with Key Stakeholders to help define & deliver strategic objectives.
Proven experience in supporting to help define & ensure solutions aligns to strategic roadmaps ensuring alignment with a number of stakeholders across different technologies, business areas both locally & globally.
Strong knowledge and experience in digital channels architecture (mobile solutions) and integrating with financial systems, processes – iOS/Swift, Android/Kotlin, webapps.
Expertise in front end design and integration patterns, with proven ability of coming up solution designs which involve mobile channel integration
Knowledge of Identity and access management, Oauth/OIDC and caching
Knowledge of computer architecture and system software interaction; ability to design and build a fundamental architecture for mobile technologies
Have experience of AWS & Cloud Architecture.
Be passionate about driving and experience of leading change by creating practical, workable architectures aligned to IT principles and following appropriate governance
Collaboration is critical, the ability to communicate complex concepts, challenge and influence a diverse set of senior stakeholder and colleagues
Knowledge of planning and organizing concepts and best practices and ability to mobilize both time and resources to manage multiple projects and domains
Be effective in a team environment – managing and allocate work to junior SA colleagues - contributing to collective targets
Senior SA with experience of running SA team & supporting SA community.
Bachelor’s degree in management / Computer Science / Information Technology or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
