Essential Job Duties:
As a Mobile Software Developer Intern (undergraduate), you will contribute to the current and next generation of Android or IOS Applications! You’ll be working alongside our incredible engineers, making changes to our mobile app within a few weeks of your internship (that's right, we release wicked fast!). You’ll be paired with a skilled mentor who will help you develop your skills and make the most of your internship experience. If you get a kick out of solving problems and building beautiful, world-class software, then you will love BambooHR.
We work closely with UX designers, product managers, and backend software engineers to create highly polished and interactive enterprise-level applications in iOS and Android. Our tools include Android Studio, xCode, Firebase and several 3rd party tools!
You will:
- Practice a scrum-like agile development process using CI/CD systems.
- Work with a world-class product development team to integrate your projects into the application.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our systems and processes.
- Come to work, do great things, then go home!
This will be a paid, full-time internship (M-F, 8-5), running from May 2024 to August 2024.
What You Need to Get the Job Done
- Experience in an object-oriented programming language (backend)
- Basic education with web development (frontend)
- Familiarity with relational databases (backend)
- Familiarity with version control software, preferably Git
- You live within commuting distance of our Lindon, UT office
- Rising senior/preparing to graduate in Spring 2025
