Your Role

As the Operations Manager at BIO.xyz, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our internal processes, scaling operations, and ensuring our teams and protocol run seamlessly. You will excel in managing operational and administrative efforts to ensure BIO.xyz’s success and compliance in the DeSci space. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will help develop, communicate, and execute BIO.xyz’s strategy while equipping the team with the processes, tools, and resources necessary to achieve ambitious goals.

What You'll Be Doing

• Strategic Operations Management

  • Design and implement operational strategies aligned with BIO.xyz’s mission and goals.

  • Track and manage team performance, optimize processes, and develop strategies to ensure resource efficiency and progress toward set goals.

• Team Leadership and Building

  • Build and lead a cohesive, high-performing team, fostering collaboration and decentralized decision-making.

  • Take responsibility for talent acquisition and people management to build a collaborative team culture, establish strong reporting systems, and drive effective cross-functional collaboration."

  • Act as a central point of communication to keep leadership informed of team progress and challenges.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Drive operational alignment between BIO, Molecule, biotech DAOs, and external partners by fostering strong communication and collaboration.

  • Support the funding, development, and governance of tokenized scientific IP to advance BIO’s mission.

• BIO Administration

  • Oversee operations, finance, HR, and legal functions to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

  • Manage budgets, financial planning, and reporting while making data-driven decisions that balance organizational and stakeholder needs.

What We’re Looking For

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience: 5+ years in operations, project management, or related roles, preferably within biotech, blockchain, or decentralized finance (DeFi).

• Project Management: Strong track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.

• Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with blockchain technology, DeFi, and/or decentralized governance models.

• Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing data, metrics, and KPIs to drive decision-making.

• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas for diverse audiences.

• Background in biotech, research commercialization, or intellectual property management.

• Experience with decentralized funding models and governance frameworks.

• Knowledge of DAO ecosystems and tokenomics.

• Strong interest in Decentralized Science (DeSci) and blockchain-enabled innovation.
