POSITION SUMMARY:

  • This position will participate in the deployment of Oracle Cloud EPM solution through a full cycle – requirements and design, development, testing, training, implementation, and support.
  • They will develop business rules, application reports, interfaces, and customizations to create a global solution for IPG. They will be part of an integrated team working with the business owners to implement the application.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Designing and developing solutions: Participate in launch of Oracle EPM solutions through full cycle. Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Develop and configure Oracle EPBCS applications to meet the business needs, including building hierarchies, business rules, forms, and reports.
  • EPBCS application customization: Customize EPBCS applications based on specific business requirements, including building metadata, member formulas, and data mappings. Design webforms and build dashboards. Implement complex calculations, allocations, and data integrations within EPBCS.
  • Technical support and troubleshooting: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users and resolve issues related to EPBCS applications. Investigate and debug performance issues, data quality problems, and system errors. Regression test Oracle software updates and patches
  • Integration and data management: Develop data integration processes and scripts to load data into EPBCS and ensure data integrity. Oversee master data management and governance for Oracle EPM
  • Technical knowledge of scripting is essential for writing custom consolidations, translation logic, business rules, Data Management and EPM Automation.
  • Design, develop and deliver application reports, interfaces, customizations, and extensions using OIC web services, FBDI, and data transformation from OTBI and BI Publisher, promoting PaaS best practices.
  • Provide input into system capacity plans; able to assist with load tests
  • Create and maintain system documentation, both functional and technical
  • Collaborate with IT Security, Enterprise Architecture, and Infrastructure to ensure technical solutions are compliant and meet security and architectural standards.

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Management Information Systems
  • 3+ years' experience implementing or optimizing Oracle EPM or other EPM/CPM applications (Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Hyperion Planning, Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of the financial processes, including experience with financial planning, close, consolidations, financial reporting, and FP&A
  • Project experience in EPM Suite of Products 11.x
  • General understanding of agile methodologies
  • Understanding of cloud-based SaaS and PaaS market offerings
  • Understanding of FP&A processes including bottom-up planning, scenario modeling, allocations, account reconciliations, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, and top-side adjustments
  • Prior experience gathering business requirements and translating those to help design a solution
  • Previous experience leading full-cycle EPM/CPM implementations
  • Experience with data integration between different systems/sources
  • Expert in gathering business and functional requirements to set the direction of solution delivery aligned to business goals
  • Helps to establish critical path, milestones, delivery dates, and review client deliverables to ensure they meet client acceptance criteria.

SALARY RANGE:

The salary range for this position is $100,000 and $120,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
