Job Description

As an Oracle Cloud Financial Solutions Architect, you will leverage your extensive Oracle Finance experience, particularly in Oracle Fusion Finance, to drive excellence in Oracle Cloud implementations. You will play a key role in leading business analysis, business process design, and application development efforts, collaborating closely with senior business leaders to develop technology roadmaps and strategies.

• Conduct independent analyses and reviews of technical and business requirements, leveraging expertise in technological alternatives and directions
• Solution all functional aspects of Oracle Cloud implementation/support for modules including Cloud General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, and Project Portfolio Management Cloud
• Design and manage data migration and synchronization processes to maintain data quality and application integrity
• Lead the development and enhancement of Fusion Finance modules and third-party systems, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT management to innovate operations and provide a competitive advantage through technology
• Establish and enforce application design patterns, interface standards, and development guidelines
• Investigate new technologies and propose strategies to meet long-term business objectives, adjusting product architecture as needed
• Collaborate with program managers and development teams to formulate appropriate architecture required to provide system functionality
• Translate software architecture into design and perform related duties as assigned
• Plan, manage and support Finance module enhancements and operations
• Partner with the business in supporting operational changes to the application portfolio driven by business events, process improvements, bug fixes, or software releases
• Lead communication with internal staff and 3rd party service providers as required
• Design and manage Regression testing of applications as required

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in a technical discipline; Masters degree preferred

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Certified Oracle Cloud Professional preferred
• 12+ years of Oracle Finance experience, with 5+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion Finance
• 5 + years of experience in leading and managing team
• Project experience and Subject Matter of Expert in Oracle Fusion Cloud modules of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Project Portfolio Management Cloud and Grants
• Techno-functional Oracle expertise in large US-based hospitals and schools.
• Experience working with fast formulas and functional configuration manager.
• Proven record of working with senior business leaders in developing technology roadmaps and strategies
• Cross-module experience with Oracle Fusion Supply Chain and General Ledger is a plus
• Experience in delivering IT solutions on time and on budget
• Experienced in Agile methodologies and their implementations in ERP package solutions
• Good working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Finance architecture and administration
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and customer service orientation skills
• Oracle Financials Cloud certification preferred not required.
• Oracle Cloud Payables certification preferred not required

Compensation Statement

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for this role is $145,200.00 - $217,875.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
