Partner Business Manager (PBM) – Print and Personal Systems
The Partner Business Manager (PBM) is a strategic, quota-carrying sales leader responsible for driving partner growth, profitability, and market share across HP’s PPS portfolio among a variety of value-added resellers that are in Mid-Atlantic or Metro NYC region.
The PBM acts as a trusted advisor to partners, aligning HP’s priorities with partner business goals to deliver mutual growth, and a seamless One HP experience across the full HP portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Drive sales growth, market share, and partner profitability across HP PC, Print Hardware, and HP Services offerings.
Develop and execute strategic business plans aligned to partner objectives and HP priorities.
Promote a One HP selling motion by helping partners identify, position, and attach complementary HP solutions, services, and lifecycle offerings to maximize customer value.
Collaborate with HP specialists, category teams, services experts, and sales resources to increase partner adoption of key initiatives, programs, and growth opportunities.
Drive attachment and penetration of HP Services, including device lifecycle services, managed solutions, support offerings, and other strategic services initiatives.
Identify and accelerate new business opportunities through pipeline development, demand generation programs, and customer acquisition activities.
Utilize data, analytics, and business reviews to uncover growth opportunities, improve performance, and drive accountability against agreed-upon objectives.
Support partner enablement by ensuring awareness, readiness, and execution of HP programs, promotions, incentives, and strategic priorities.
Foster executive-level relationships with partner leadership and key stakeholders to influence business outcomes and strengthen long-term partnerships.
Coordinate cross-functional resources to remove barriers, resolve business challenges, and improve the overall partner and customer experience.
Champion HP strategic initiatives, including AI-enabled solutions, security, sustainability, workforce solutions, and future growth areas.
Ensure alignment across HP teams to deliver a consistent customer engagement model and unified go-to-market strategy.
Success Measures
Revenue growth and quota attainment cross the PPS portfolio.
Increased attachment of HP Peripherals, including the Poly portfolio and Services.
Partner adoption of HP strategic initiatives and programs.
Pipeline creation, new-customer acquisition, and demand generation results.
Achievement of team goals, and partner joint business plan objectives.
Successful execution of the One HP strategy through cross-portfolio collaboration and solution selling.
Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in enterprise selling, channel & alliance, or a related field
Salary
The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $159,100 to $234,700 USD annually with a 60%/40% (salary/incentive) mix. There are additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonuses and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
