Partnerships Lead (Technology, Consumer & Digital Products)

Department: Partnerships

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Remote

Description

The Digital Medicine Society (DiMe) is a global non-profit and the professional home for digital medicine. Together, we drive broad adoption of digital approaches to advance the practice of medicine to enhance public health. Our mission is to advance the safe, effective, and equitable use of digital approaches to redefine healthcare and improve lives.
As Partnerships Lead (Technology, Consumer & Digital Products), you will spearhead efforts to drive financial support and active participation from companies across the healthcare, technology, and consumer product ecosystems. This individual will be a critical force in building, managing, and expanding relationships with key partners, resulting in funding for DiMe’s high-impact projects, education initiatives, and sponsorship opportunities.
In this role, you will be responsible for forging strategic partnerships with technology companies, consumer product companies, digital health solution developers, data platforms, and other key stakeholders. You’ll own the full partner lifecycle — from outreach and engagement to deal negotiation, contracting, and ongoing relationship management — ensuring an exceptional partner experience while achieving revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Partner Strategy: Serve as the primary liaison and relationship owner for DiMe’s portfolio of technology, consumer, and digital solution partners. Develop and execute strategic plans to engage and grow partnerships with top-tier companies, including digital health innovators, consumer product brands, and data platforms.
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Generate funding for DiMe’s projects and initiatives by identifying partner needs, pitching custom opportunities, and crafting compelling value propositions that drive revenue growth. Your individual contributions will directly impact the organization’s overall revenue targets.
  • Relationship Cultivation: Position DiMe as the partner of choice for digital medicine innovation. Build meaningful relationships with decision-makers at prospective partner organizations and identify opportunities for collaboration and financial support.
  • Internal Collaboration: Coordinate across peer verticals, growth engine team and delivery team to enrich DiMe’s market intelligence.
  • End-to-End Partner Management: Own every step of the partner journey — from initial outreach and opportunity exploration to partner onboarding, contracting, and ongoing engagement. Ensure partner satisfaction and smooth handoffs to internal project teams for seamless execution.
  • Cross-Sector Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders, including the DiMe executive team, project leads, and subject matter experts. Facilitate collaboration across projects to create and deliver exceptional outcomes for partners.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of trends in digital health, consumer technology, and regulatory shifts. Use this knowledge to inform DiMe’s approach to partner development and ensure relevance to industry needs.

The Partnerships Lead (Technology, Consumer & Digital Products) demonstrates the following:

  • Communication skills: Listening, writing and speaking to diverse stakeholders including with collaborators, senior leaders and administration; impeccable ability to tell the DiMe story and pitch projects will be an indicator of success in the first 90 days
  • Subject matter expertise: Understanding field-wide trends and being able to map them to DiMe opportunities
  • Project management skills: Organizational skills and multi-part, advanced project management prowess that supports internal progress and reporting, as well as partner transparency; taking ownership of revenue goals and delivering on them on time within the given constraints
  • Content creation: Independently working to create materials supporting project pitching activities, which may include project proposals and supporting pitch materials
  • Strategic planning: Setting priorities and identifying the best pathways for pitching outcomes, including anticipating necessary resources, stakeholders and paths to success
  • Leadership: Commanding the respect and trust of partners and advancing activities that meet their diverse needs, while enabling knowledge sharing as a model for the team

Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience: 7+ years of experience in partner development, strategic partnerships, business development, or similar roles. Strong preference for experience within healthcare, digital health, technology, or consumer product sectors.
  • Track Record of Success: Demonstrated ability to secure strategic partnerships or funding commitments.
  • Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of healthcare technology, consumer products, regulatory bodies, and the broader digital health landscape.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience creating compelling pitches and proposals for executive-level stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in business, healthcare, or a related field is a plus.
