Job Summary:

The People Experience and Capability Lead will play a pivotal role in enhancing the employee experience and building future capability. This position will oversee various People Experience areas including, but not limited to, talent acquisition, talent management, performance, learning and development, engagement, reward, wellbeing and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performance Management: Enhance our performance management process to drive success for both employees and Diaceutics.
  • Learning and Development: Lead our Learning and Development Strategy to create a robust framework that supports the growth and development of our employees at all levels including mentoring and coaching and development of bespoke programmes for senior leadership.
  • Employee Engagement: Further build upon our employee engagement initiatives to nurture a positive workplace culture ensuring that employees feel heard and valued resulting in a highly engaged and motivated workforce that is aligned with our values and goals.
  • Job architecture and organisational design: Contribute to and support job architecture and organisational design to ensure the company is able to deliver on it’s annual objectives both now and in the future.
  • Total Reward Strategy: Further building upon the enhancement of our total reward strategy to improve our employee value proposition i.e. total compensation package, benefits, job evaluation, benchmarking etc.
  • Talent Management: Ensure our talent management initiatives are aligned with the overall company strategy to support the achievement of our objectives and long-term success.
  • Diversity, Equality and Inclusion: Responsible for rolling out a refreshed Diversity, Equality and Inclusion strategy and developing and implementing various initiatives to progress the DE&I agenda to ensure an inclusive workplace that benefits all employees and drives organisational success.
  • Employee Wellbeing: Developing and implementing further Employee Wellbeing initiatives to support the health and wellbeing of our people and maintain a healthy, productive and engaged workforce.
  • Culture: Contribute and support the refresh of the company’s Culture programme to ensure that our values, behaviours and purpose are consistently reflected across all levels and ensuring our culture is embedded throughout the Company.
  • Talent Acquisition: Support the development of a robust talent acquisition strategy which is essential for long-term organisational success.
  • Onboarding Experience: Lead the Company’s onboarding process to ensure new employees feel valued and prepared for their new roles.
  • Employer Brand: Support the relaunch of our employer branding.

Key Attributes Required:

  • People Skills: Work collaboratively within a team, adding value through efficient and effective communication of information. Ability to building exceptional internal relationships, working collaboratively to deliver business critical task and/or projects.
  • Customer Service / External Impact: Possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders and provide sound advice and guidance in many aspects of the People function.
  • Decision-Making: Confident in making complex decisions, often based on conflicting information, in order to effectively manage their own workload. Ability to follow standard practices or guidelines, planning workload based on agreed processes and management supervision. Possess good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Initiative and Independence: Ability to develop and implement ideas, proactively planning projects in conjunction with other internal stakeholders in regards to agreed results and outputs Ability to work independently but still a team player and the ability to multitask, meet deadlines and adapt to a fluid, high growth environment.

Knowledge and Specialist Skills:

  • Hold a BSc Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Studies / Management.
  • Have 5+ years of experience in a Talent or People Experience Officer role with demonstrable competence in Talent / People Experience areas such as, but not limited to, talent acquisition and management, onboarding, performance, learning and development, engagement, reward, people insights and analytics, wellbeing and culture. To also include 2 years experience working in an international organisation with different employment laws and adhering to the local legislation.
  • Extensive and demonstrable knowledge of and practical application of numerous Employee / People Experience initiatives, preferably in multiple countries including UK, US, Ireland and wider Europe.
  • Experience in administering and managing employee immigration / visa processes would be desirable.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
  • Solid process-driven administration skills
