As our Team is scaling, the People Team is facing new adventures and challenges to keep up with the tasks related to our growth. As a People Operations Specialist, you will be part of our People team, focusing on People Operations admin tasks.
You will:
- Coordinate and facilitate the Onboarding and Offboarding Processes, ensuring all the admin/operational tasks.
- Process employment-related paperwork, including contracts, amendments, and terminations.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Prepare information for payroll and finance teams, while handling employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with local, state, and federal laws.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist with the development and implementation of new HR policies as needed.
- Support training requests and records, and track employee participation.
- Assist with job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
- Coordinate background checks and reference verifications.
- Maintain a database of potential candidates and manage applicant tracking.
Who we’re looking for:
- Degree in HR, Management or similar
- Previous experience in the role, ideally in global startups/tech companies
- Orientation to detail, processes, and results
- Amazing written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English
- High levels of energy and a huge dose of optimism and positivity
- Team player who loves to bring new ideas to the table
- Work remotely from Portugal
