Job Overview:
Peraton is seeking a highly skilled PeopleSoft Administrator to manage and maintain the PeopleSoft HCM system. The successful candidate will have extensive experience with PeopleTools, HCM administration, and Oracle Database systems, with a strong focus on supporting and upgrading to PeopleTools 8.61. This role is fully remote, and candidates must ensure they work exclusively on this job while adhering to company and project requirements.

Key Requirements:

  • Hands-On Experience with PeopleSoft HCM Upgrades (PUM): Experience with upgrades, specifically PeopleTools 8.61.
  • PeopleSoft Administration Experience: Proven experience in PeopleTools and PeopleSoft HCM administration.
  • Oracle Database and Linux Server Experience: Expertise in working with Oracle Databases and Linux operating systems.
  • Preferred Experience: PeopleSoft 9.2.37 or higher, PeopleTools 8.59 (minimum) and 8.61.
  • Open Search/Deployment: Experience with open search deployment and administration.
  • Elasticsearch: Practical experience with Elasticsearch.
  • End-to-End Encryption: Familiarity with web, app, and database encryption processes.
  • Single Sign-On Integration: Experience with OHS connectors and single sign-on integration.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

  • Patching & Code Migration: Experience with WebLogic, PeopleTools, Tuxedo, Elasticsearch patching, and code migration using App Designer and Data Mover.
  • Change Assistant and PUM: Experience creating and applying Change Packages, handling tax updates, bugs, and full image updates.
  • Integration Broker: Expertise with Integration Broker, resolving service operation issues, and tuning system performance.
  • SSL & PKI: Experience with SSL Certificate installation, SAN certificates, and Oracle Wallet.
  • Disaster Recovery: Knowledge of disaster recovery setup for PeopleSoft applications.
  • Database Cloning: Experience with database cloning processes.

Responsibilities:

  • System Monitoring & Maintenance: Conduct daily monitoring of PeopleSoft applications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Configuration & Installation: Design, install, and configure PeopleTools stacks across multiple environments and OS platforms.
  • Code Migration: Execute code migrations and support the development lifecycle through various environments.
  • Patch Management: Perform quarterly patching of PeopleSoft components.
  • Hardware Recommendations: Provide recommendations for hardware requirements to support PeopleSoft applications across different networks.
  • Documentation: Create and update technical documentation for issue resolutions and system configurations.
  • Collaboration with DBAs: Work closely with database administrators to troubleshoot performance issues.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in administering and supporting PeopleSoft HCM systems.
  • Expertise in Oracle Database, Linux servers, and encryption technologies.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and system integrations.
  • Strong documentation skills to ensure seamless knowledge transfer.
