As a Pharmacist Prescriber you will be delivering safe, evidence-based weight management services. You will be assessing patient consultations remotely and prescribing repeat GLP-1 medication where clinically appropriate, in line with GPHC guidelines and internal SOP’s.
Keep up to date with NICE guidelines on weight management and obesity treatment.
Maintain accurate patient records in line with data protection (GDPR)
Strong knowledge of weight management, nutrition, and obesity guidelines.
Review and assess online patient consultations for repeat weight loss medication
Prescribe GLP-1 medication
Identify contraindications, safeguarding and red flags
Request additional information or decline treatment where clinically necessary
Ensure prescribing aligns with, GPHC standards /Company SOP’s and clinical pathways
Provide clear and accurate patient counselling
