We are seeking a Pharmacy Informatics MHS GENESIS Support Analyst to join our team and support or customer. This position will directly support the implementation and operational activities related to the Military Health System (MHS) GENESIS electronic health record deployment to Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs). This includes, but is not limited to, performing on site and remote preparation, assisting in the monitoring of day-to-day project performance, communicating with vendors and MTF pharmacy leadership/personnel to provide technical expertise and project support.
The position requires understanding of technical and clinical requirements, ability to conform to government contracting processes, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask while performing with the highest professional conduct.
This is a 100% Remote position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide on-MTF site and virtual support for MTF Pharmacy MHS GENESIS Implementation events prior to and during go-live events.
- Conduct Drug File Walkthroughs to identify current inventory requirements.
- Perform automated, such as barcode scanning, and manual data entry.
- Support Perpetual Inventory Implementation post go-live.
- Support virtual data collection and meetings throughout implementation.
- Assist with Change Management to support the adoption of new workflows, processes, and policies associated with implementing the system.
- Perform Adoption Assessment to reinforce the Change Management activities.
- Draft/assist in preparation of information papers and briefings.
- Organize meetings including appropriate meeting materials and record minutes for meetings as required.
- Monitor, schedule and assist with action items as required.
- Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures for EHR Implementation activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Experience:
- 5+ years of Extensive and recent knowledge of inpatient and/or outpatient military pharmacy workflow is preferred.
- Knowledge of MHS GENESIS preferred.

Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Associates Degree or higher is preferred.
- Formal training/education in Pharmacy Technician course with certificate is preferred.
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.
- This position requires the candidate to be an United States Citizen and capable of obtaining an IT-2 position of Public Trust.
- Valid U.S. Passport is required.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience communicating effectively across internal and external organizations.
Travel:
- Extensive travel required to multiple military installations CONUS and OCONUS.
Environmental Requirements:
- Remote work in a private and suitable location.
- Private high efficiency home internet access is required.
- Private high efficiency home phone or mobile phone service is required.
- Highly recommend access to Adobe, card reader, and a scanner.
- Standard Monday through Friday day schedule, with some extended hours at times.
