About the role:

As a PHP/Laravel Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web solution for the Dutch audiology market using the Laravel framework. You'll be working with a small dedicated team in a big organization to understand project requirements, design and implement solution and ensure the smooth operation our web application.

What will you do:
  • Develop and maintain web applications using the Laravel framework
  • Design and implement efficient, scalable and secure code for our web application
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in web applications and provide timely resolutions
  • Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in PHP and Laravel development, and suggest improvements to enhance application performance and usability
  • Maintain documentation of code and project tasks and contribute to technical specifications
What will you bring:
  • Proven 4+ yrs experience with PHP web development
  • Proficient with the Laravel framework
  • Experience with relational databases like MySQL and ORM (Object Relational Mapping) frameworks like Eloquent
  • Strong understanding of web application security best practices
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services
Would be a plus:
  • Experience with cloud platforms like Azure is a plus
  • Familiarity with Linux environment and server administration
You are:
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong problem-solver able to find solutions to complex issues
  • Able to collaborate with development teams across different locations
