Remote Physical Therapist (PT) – Illinois School District Fully Remote | Part-Time | Immediate Start

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide remote services for an Illinois school district. This opportunity involves supporting an 11th-grade student with autism who is currently receiving homebound instruction and requires compensatory services.
Due to prior challenges with virtual screen engagement, services will begin in a consultative model, with a primary focus on coaching the parent to implement strategies and support the student effectively.
Position Details
Start Date: ASAP
Through End of Current School Year: Approximately 30 minutes per week
Extended School Year (ESY): Approximately 1.5 hours per week
2026–2027 School Year: Approximately 30 minutes per week anticipated
Service Model: Virtual consultative support
Current School Year: Collaboration with onsite providers as needed
ESY: Fully virtual
Parent and district would like to meet with the provider prior to the start of services Requirements
Qualifications
Active Illinois Physical Therapist license required
Experience working with school-aged students preferred
Experience supporting students with autism preferred
Strong communication and parent coaching skills
Comfortable providing teletherapy and consultative services Benefits
