The Magic: The Gathering TCG Studio is hiring a PresentationGraphic Designer with an eye for information design, a passion for visual storytelling, and a deep understanding of the Magic: The Gathering brand and fantasy entertainment. Our outstanding artwork, intriguing characters, engaging worlds, and tales of fantastical adventure are waiting for you!

The Presentation Graphic Designer will come with a great understanding of design layout using typography, artwork and graphics, all while applying strong interpersonal skills to get the information needed to do the job. This is a very focused, self-directed role in which you will create essential internal documents for Magic: The Gathering teams Studio-wide that help propel critical work forward.

What You'll Do:

You'll be responsible for making professional-quality decks and presentations worthy of the world's foremost fantasy TCG. In this role, you will:

  • Create viable visual solutions based on strategy and intent provided, while also constantly innovating on the brand.
  • Communicate your ideas and intentions clearly through writing and responses, working closely with team members up and down the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with people from across the Magic creative team on the development of these documents.
  • Make timely revisions based on feedback from creative managers and producers, product designers, and art directors.
  • Stay up-to-date on current design trends and pursue creative development by collaborating with management and peers to develop skills.
  • Work, collaborate and brainstorm as a team, sharing creative ideas, tips and process improvements you discover along the way.

What You'll Bring:

  • 2+ yrs experience in a Graphic Design, Presentation Design or related role.
  • Portfolio demonstrating high-quality design work.
  • Ability to tackle multiple concurrent projects and timelines.
  • Great interpersonal skills and self-motivation.
  • Specialization in presentation design applications like Powerpoint, Google Slides, Miro, etc, as well as a solid understanding of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
  • Working knowledge of Magic: The Gathering intellectual properties, characters, and game mechanics.
  • Can use brand strategy to produce strong, conceptual, creative solutions.
  • Comfortable working in an ambiguous, sometimes fast-paced and constantly evolving creative environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat familiarity.
  • Being a fan of gaming, sci-fi, or fantasy fandom.

Compensation Range, Currency USD: $69,280 - $115,800
