We are seeking a Principal Engineer with exceptional leadership and technical expertise to play a key role in shaping our product strategy and driving execution. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will lead engineering teams, foster growth, and deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that have a direct impact on our customers.


In this role, you will:

  • Report directly to the CTO, contributing to product strategy and execution.
  • Coach and mentor your team through regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and development plans to help engineers reach their full potential.
  • Define engineering goals, set quarterly objectives, and establish strategies to maximize value delivery to customers.
  • Develop and optimize processes that enhance the efficiency and performance of engineering teams.
  • Lead by example: participate actively in technical design discussions, code reviews, and problem-solving to maintain high engineering standards.
  • Write and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient code using Node.js, TypeScript, React, React Native, and other modern technologies.
  • Work hands-on with AWS cloud infrastructure, including services such as API Gateway, Lambda, and Serverless solutions.
  • Ensure the architectural integrity and scalability of software solutions.



Requirements


  • 5+ years of experience with Node.js, TypeScript, React.js, and React Native.
  • 3+ years of experience working with AWS services, specifically API Gateway, Lambda, and Serverless.
  • Hands-on experience with MongoDB for database management.
  • Proven track record in coaching, hiring, and leading high-performing software engineering teams.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on team growth, empowerment, and transparent communication.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and production software delivery.
  • Passion for maintaining scalable architecture and building elegant, functional solutions.
  • English proficiency (B2-C1).


  • Nice-to-have Skills:

    • Experience with Nest.js.
    • Knowledge of CI/CD DevOps practices.
    • Familiarity with AWS tools like CDK, Pulumi, or sst.dev.
