Scrollmark is a social commerce platform that grows fanbases, nurtures audiences, and creates+measures revenue on social. We’re the platform of choice for Shopify brands looking to take their social commerce to the next level. We do this by using the most underutilized channel in marketing today - direct messages. We're building cutting edge technology in language and image processing to use in our social copilot systems.
As an early-stage startup, we're looking for partners with the commitment and conviction to define the future of this company. So far, we've raised $3M in seed funding from Mayfield, Jackson Square Ventures, Lemniscap, Shakti, and Aperiam. Our goal for the next 6-12 months is to rapidly expand our customer base. Nearly 9/10 customers are moving from a free trial to a sale. Our co-founders have experience working in large enterprises and small startups, and we maintain a culture of respect, passion, and inclusivity. In this role, you'll be reporting directly to the CTO, with support/mentorship from multiple other staff engineers. We're looking for someone with at least 5+ years of experience (2018 graduate or earlier).
We're looking for someone with:
Preferred experience with ML models on platforms like Hugging Face, Transformers, spaCy, or other open-source LLM frameworks
3-6 years of experience in building and deploying ML applications
Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) and large language models such as BERT, GPT, chatGPT, or Transformers.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field
