In the GFiber Finance Operations team, you will operate in a dynamic environment where you will take ownership of processes, optimizing them and addressing challenges within our business operations.
This team is responsible for key functions such as Procure to Pay, Travel and Expenses, Order to Cash, and Revenue Assurance. You demonstrate exceptional performance in enhancing operational efficiency and scalability while possessing a thorough understanding of business processes and their underlying systems. Your attention to detail ensures the quality of our operations, and you proactively work to mitigate operational risks. You will collaborate with our outsourcing partners, suppliers, and cross-functional teams, including Google Procurement, Accounting, and all functional buyers within GFiber.
Role Description
This position will lead Invoicing and Payment operations, manage the early payment discount program, and administer our corporate card program, inclusive of virtual & corporate cards. This role will also oversee Travel and Expense (T&E) operations and outsourced operational support, which includes auditing expense reports, enforcing T&E policies, and resolving any associated issues. As the primary lead for our travel platform, you will serve as the main point of contact for the relationship with our third-party vendors.
This position has been newly established and specifically tailored for GFiber. The ideal candidate possesses extensive expertise in business processes and relevant systems to ensure operational efficiency and timely processing of invoices.
In this role, you'll:
- Establish and oversee Invoicing and Payment operations to guarantee timely and accurate payments while also managing the early payment discount program.
- Administer the Travel and Expense policy, including travel caps and compliance measures, to mitigate fraud risk and prevent overspending.
- Establish and oversee Travel and Expense operations from card requests to report processing, audits, reporting, issue resolution, employee and bank reimbursements and employee training.
- Maintain relationships with our travel management company and card providers.
At a minimum we'd like you to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and/or Travel and Expense operations with 2 or more years in a leadership capacity.
- Experience with accounting principles and internal controls, along with experience in ERP systems, Procure-to-Pay processes, and Expense Management systems.
- Experience utilizing Coupa Spend Management Platform for advanced operations.
It's preferred if you have:
- Proficient in driving process improvement initiatives and leveraging project management expertise.
- Experience working with outsourced service providers.
- Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Skilled in managing multiple priorities, resolving challenges and excelling in a dynamic work environment.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $98,000 - $144,000 + bonus + cash award + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
