We are seeking a dynamic Procurement Specialist with prior experience in a fast-paced cooperative team environment. The ideal candidate will be familiar with NetSuite and SpringCM/Docusign softwares, self-motivated, highly organized and detail-oriented. Initiating and answering both vendor and internal inquiries will be a key factor in this role.

What you'll be doing:

  • Run and maintain purchase request process for multiple entities globally
  • Verify appropriate approvals are obtained, working with internal stakeholders and suppliers as needed
  • Verify accurate coding/currency
  • Review and negotiate supplier contracts by being the liaison between the internal stakeholders, suppliers, and legal
  • Maintain database of supplier and related contracts, including but not limited to, identifying contract terms, TIN matching, contact and banking information updates, and reporting
  • Assist in the resolution of any accrual/supplier issues and provide information as needed
  • Provide timely and excellent customer service in answering any supplier or internal inquiries
  • Assist in the identification and resolution of issues and process improvement opportunities
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues
  • Classify procurement spend; prepare reports relating to spend, focusing on opportunities for continuous improvement, cost efficiency, and value creation
  • Analyze spend patterns, supplier performance, and contract compliance.

What you'll need to know/have:

  • 3 or more years of Procurement experience
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and Word or Google Docs
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with a proactive approach to projects and daily tasks
  • Bachelor’s degree or working towards completion of degree preferred
  • Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize tasks, establish timelines, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of purchasing strategies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service
  • Strong negotiation skills of supplier contracts and PO terms and conditions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cooperative team environment
  • Flexible and willing to assist with any tasks as needed
  • Experience with NetSuite, Workday, and Coupa a plus
