Product Analyst

The Data Science team helps Alma achieve its mission by leveraging data to inform business strategy and drive product innovations. As a Product Analyst, you will apply your expertise in analytics and experimentation to improve Alma’s operational efficiency, create tools to empower providers, and make finding the right therapist more intuitive for clients. You will tackle challenging problems such as improving the efficiency of Alma’s insurance claims processing and identifying opportunities to enhance the user experience of our billing platform. You will work closely with a cross functional team of product managers, software engineers, and designers to define and execute on the product roadmap.

What you’ll do:

  • Generate data-driven insights to inform product strategy and improvements
  • Define metrics and create dashboards to measure product performance
  • Collaborate with cross functional partners to define the product roadmap
  • Inform prioritization through opportunity sizing
  • Analyze A/B testing experiments to validate product hypotheses
  • Communicate technical insights effectively to influence decision making
  • Champion a data-driven decision culture

Who you are:

  • You have a Master’s degree in a relevant quantitative field (e.g. data science, computer science, statistics, economics) or equivalent in industry experience
  • You have 1-3 years of experience as a data scientist or product analyst supporting product development
  • You are an expert in SQL
  • You are proficient in either R or Python for data analysis
  • You are experienced in applying statistical analysis (e.g. hypothesis testing and regression analysis) to draw trustworthy conclusions from data
  • You have experience analyzing A/B testing experiments and guiding product decisions with experimental insights
  • You influence others to take action by communicating your analytical insights convincingly
  • You are results-driven and passionate about building great products, with a proven track record of taking projects from inception to launch

Salary Band: $125,000 - $145,000
