What would you do as our Product & Configurator IT architect EMEIA
Within this role, supporting our EMEIA Division, you will be working in partnership with the Product management & Purchase to Pay Stream Leader, supporting several of our ongoing projects. You will mainly focus on our Microsoft Dynamics AX platform, currently used across within this Division. You will also deliver the EMEIA Product configurator IT roadmap by streamlining the communication between our Division and the supplier. Your role is to fine-tune the requirements obtained from the internal stakeholders, assessing what can be performed by proposing adequate solution design, clearly communicate that to any relevant stakeholders that would execute the agreed changes and overseeing the execution of the changes from start to finish.

Additional projects such as Microsoft D365 implementation, maybe be added as per the business requirements.

This role will evolve together with the Business, and you’ll be able to act independently with support from the various internal stakeholders if and when needed.

You will report to Francis Diratzonian, our EMEIA ERP Stream Leader PM/P2P.  The role may require travelling within Europe (approximately several business trips per year, depending on the business need).

You would also:   

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other members of the EMEIA IT Team (Customer & Sales domain, Product & Operations domain, ERP program domain and Enterprise Architecture), the divisional and regional business process owners, regional stakeholders, and external consultants to deliver project targets
  • Accurately interpret and capture business requirements and propose solutions to the Stream leader in line with Product management policies and EMEIA strategy.
  • Ensure the delivery of change requests as per the Change request process, including appropriate quality documentation, resource allocation, progress follow-up, administrative tasks and handover to the user community
  • Handle 3rd line support requests coming from the support organization
  • Validate tests performed by the Development Teams
  • Lead the continuous development, testing and innovation of the Product configurator solutions
  • Play an active role in relevant focus groups and business process owner network meetings/workshops

The skills and experience you need    

We are looking for someone who: 

  • Has solid hands-on experience in a role of IT solution architect, including requirement analysis, solution proposal, design and scaling of change
  • Can demonstrate proven knowledge of solution and implementation experience for Product management modules (3 years+) in Microsoft Dynamics AX2012
  • Has in-depth knowledge of the Product Configurator concept, with a prior experience of deploying a Product configurator solution in complex business scenarios (Product & Solution sales configuration, Price execution and Quotation management)
  • Is proficient in English, both verbal and written
  • Is able to communicate in a clear manner with stakeholders of all levels and backgrounds

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations or Infor CPQ would be beneficial. We are looking for a person that enjoys working in ever-changing environment, is eager to solve problems in a skillful and flexible manner, and has an appetite to learn.
