In your role, you'll be focused on…
We’re looking for a passionate and talented Product Designer to join our dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience across our HR and payroll platform, making it intuitive, engaging, and delightful.
As a Product Designer, you’ll be:
- Flex your craft: Design and refine user experiences for our HR and Payroll platforms ensuring they are, simple, user-friendly and visually stunning.
- System Sustainer: Contribute to, refine, and maintain our design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across all product interfaces. You will work closely with one of our senior designers to craft the future of our mobile and web design systems.
- Collaborate: Work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams, including other design teams, product managers, engineers and brand to bring your designs to life..
- Be a Research Rocket: Conduct rapid evaluative user research to gather insights and validate design decisions with lightning speed.
- Be comfortable with both the scrappy and the sublime: Navigate a high velocity environment and ruthlessly prioritise your time to meet the needs of your stakeholders.
- Brand Brilliance: Ensure that designs align with our brand and meet the high standards expected by our users.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in design.
- Invent - your curiosity and obsession for design means that you are always exploring new ways to do things and challenge the status quo.
- Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback.
You’re the hero we’re looking for if:
- Proven experience in a product design role, ideally within a fast-paced agency or startup environment.
- A stellar portfolio showcasing your work across web and mobile apps.
- Strong prototyping skills and experience with Figma.
- Familiarity with rapid evaluative user research methods.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex research findings to diverse audiences.
- Ability to deliver high-quality designs quickly, from the scrappy to the sublime.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Understanding of WCAG standards and how to apply them in your designs.
