Product Market Strategist
As a Product Market Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in driving Keyloop's market growth and product development. You will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of our ideal customer profiles, segments, buyer personas, and pain points. By analysing win/loss data and customer sentiment, you will gain valuable insights into product performance and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying and prioritising key customer pain points, allowing us to tailor our strategies and offerings to meet their specific needs and drive business growth.
Responsibilities
Customer Segmentation: Develop detailed customer profiles, target segments, and buyer personas to understand customer needs, behaviours, and decision-making processes.
Market Analysis: To inform sales strategies, evaluate geographical differences, market maturity, and effectiveness scores.
Sales Enablement: Create sales tools and assets aligned with buyer personas and Keyloop's sales methodologies.
Positioning Effectiveness: Assess the impact of product positioning and value pitches on different customer segments.
Customer-Centric Growth: Advise on market growth strategies based on customer base composition and geographical performance.
Opportunity Analysis: Analyse win/loss data to identify key factors influencing customer decisions and patterns related to buyer personas, cohorts, roles, and geographies.
Sentiment Analysis: Gather and analyse customer feedback to assess the correlation between sentiment and deal outcomes.
Pain Point Prioritisation: Identify and quantify the most significant customer pain points and their business value.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead workstreams to address customer-specific challenges identified in regular alignment sessions.
Skills, know-how and experience
Must Have:
- Product Marketing or Related Field Experience: Proven track record in product marketing or a closely related field.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Expertise in large-scale data analysis and reporting to identify customer sentiment, market trends and insights.
- Market Research: Experience in conducting comprehensive market research to understand customer needs and industry dynamics.
- Customer Segmentation: Ability to identify and analyse distinct customer segments to support product launch and growth strategies.
- International Experience: Proven ability to work effectively across multiple and diverse geographies.
Preferred:
- Supply Chain Industry Experience: Understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the supply chain industry.
- Corporate Development Transition: Experience in transitioning to a corporate development role, ideally within the software sector.
- Software Business Drivers: Knowledge of the key business drivers relevant to software and technology companies.
- Private Equity Experience: Experience working in or with private equity-backed businesses.
