Production - Associate Manager (Onsite)

Overview:

Weedmaps is seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to join the Merch & Apparel Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring that products are manufactured efficiently and delivered on time. They will also play a key role in managing vendor relationships and optimizing the supply chain. This role will need to be on-site at HQ in Irvine 4 days a week.

The impact you'll make:

  • Oversee the production process from inception to delivery, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met.
  • Identify and implement relevant process improvements as needed.
  • Support the Sr. Category Manager in vendor selection, negotiation, and relationship management.
  • Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to develop production plans and schedules.
  • Support the Sr. Category Manager by managing Purchase Orders and Sales Orders.
  • Manage the tracking of deliveries and movement of goods, ensuring on-time delivery of completed products.
  • Communicate daily with cross-functional teams on the status of production as it applies to their teams.
  • Perform data entry tasks related to product information, pricing, and inventory management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date product information in the ERP system, ensuring that all Style information is tracked and entered.
  • Support pricing strategies by conducting competitive pricing analysis and monitoring market trends.
  • Optimize inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing carrying costs.
  • Monitor production KPI’s and implement corrective actions as needed to meet targets.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in production management and merchandising.
  • Participate in product development meetings and provide feedback on product designs and features.
  • Build and maintain monthly financial reporting, including sales performance, margins, and expenses.

What you've accomplished:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of production management experience (apparel and consumer goods preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills & ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Creative mindset with a passion for fashion and retail
  • A partnership and relationship-based approach in working with internal and external business partners
  • Proven experience in merchandising and vendor management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
  • Working knowledge of Jira, Adobe Creative Cloud and ERP systems
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and Slack a plus

The base pay range for this position is $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
