Lead finance IT initiatives, with a specific focus on driving the successful implementation and management of finance-related projects and optimizing processes for scalability. Ensuring the efficient delivery of these strategic initiatives, fostering collaboration across teams, and driving the transformation of our financial processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of finance-related programs, from RFPs to initial scoping, to deployment, and ongoing optimization.
- Lead the planning and execution of finance projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving adoption across the organization
- Engage with stakeholders, including senior management, finance teams, and cross-functional departments, to gather requirements, communicate progress, and manage expectations.
- Ensure the quality of deliverables, implement best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement in finance-related processes.
- Work on automation projects and lead the coordination of designing processes and tools to make financial processes easier and more accurate.
- Track program-level status, risks, issues and dependencies. Develop robust mitigation strategies and make critical decisions to keep projects on course.
- Lead and empower direct reports and project teams working on finance-related initiatives, delegate tasks, and foster a collaborative environment.
- Lead, coach and develop personnel; conduct weekly staff meetings and perform regular 1:1’s with each employee and provide constructive feedback to include action plans for improvement as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, program management, or business analysis
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with the following modern ERPs is preferred, not required:
- Great Plains
- Adaptive Insights
- Sage Interact
- Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Proven track record of successfully delivering financial system projects
- PMP or CSM certification preferred
- Proficiency in project management tools
- Experience with Agile and traditional project management methodologies
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for financial systems across the organization
- Manage the full lifecycle of financial software implementations, upgrades, and integrations
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, and external vendors

- Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate direct reports and inspire change
- Ability to navigate a fast-paced, changing environment and multiple re-prioritizations
- Lead cross functional systems and process improvement initiatives
- Strong organizational skills; a self-starter who can prioritize and multi-task.
Pay Transparency
The approximate base pay range for this position is $160,000 to $175,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Individuals may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and/or sales compensation. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience as well as geographic location.
