Overview
The Proposal and Contracts Manager is a cross-functional leadership role that is critical to company growth. This role leads the generation of initial proposals, contracts, and contract modifications. We are looking for a new team member with knowledge of CRO business models who excels at stakeholder management, writing, and budget building.
Responsibilities
- Manage sponsor proposal and contract process for clinical trials throughout the project’s lifecycle.
- Leading and participating in the RFP response process in all stages, including coordination with partners/vendors, internal team review meetings, development of proposal strategy and management of process and all associated requests.
- Serve as primary contact for the internal team during contract preparation / amendment.
- Managing deliverable schedules and managing multiple deadlines with tight timelines.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts to understand the processes, business needs, and other contextual details to elicit the appropriate information needed to compose high-quality proposals.
- Prepare proposal and contract budgets using the internal excel budget tool in collaboration with subject matter experts within the CRO.
- Produce submission-ready proposals.
- Prepare and finalize contract documents, including but not limited to LOI, Start-up and Final Work Orders, MSA,Consulting Agreements and Change Orders, from Lexitas or client templates per guidance from legal consultants.
- Maintain filing of contracts and proposals on SharePoint, as well as Salesforce for tracking
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor Degree Required
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of CRO experience in proposals and/or contracts including experience in implementing budget revisions and preparing CO budgets.
Skills:
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Physical Requirements
Position requires: ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination sufficient to move aboutconference or meeting locations as required; ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch periodically for prolonged periods of time; manipulation (lift, carry, move) of light to medium weights of 10-35 pounds; arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp and type for prolonged periods of time; visual acuity to use a keyboard, computer monitor, operate equipment, and read materials for prolonged periods of time; ability to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear for prolonged periods of time.
