- Automate tests using tools like Parker, Cucumber, and other relevant automation frameworks.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to developers on testing best practices, supporting the team as they adopt shift-left testing methodologies.
- Integrate test suites into the CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Microsoft Azure.
- Collaborate with developers to create and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests.
- Help improve the overall development process, ensuring that developers are more responsible for unit and integration testing.
- Perform manual and exploratory testing when necessary to ensure feature completeness and functionality.
- Contribute to maintaining and improving internal QA processes using React Native and Portland framework.
- Work closely with product and development teams to meet agile sprint goals and ensure high-quality software releases.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or Automation Engineer with a strong focus on shift-left testing.
- Solid experience in automation frameworks such as Cucumber, Parker, and Selenium.
- Experience with Java and React Native for automated test creation and execution.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Strong understanding of modern testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to coach and guide developers on testing best practices.
- Experience working within agile teams and following agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of quality metrics and techniques for monitoring code quality and performance.
- Proactive and detail-oriented, with a passion for delivering high-quality software.
