Role: Software Developer in Test (SDET)Duration: Contract/Full-time Location: 100% Remote
Job Description:As a Software Developer in Test, you will be responsible for working in a product team to build out and maintain our test suite for Equity Management SaaS Application. You are expected to be able to independently own an entire project that could be fairly complex and have the ability to break-down the project into well-defined tasks. You will be responsible for selecting the best architectural design pattern and assessing the risk/ability to deliver on deadlines. The product teams follow an Agile SDLC to create new products and maintain existing applications with C#, Angular, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Oracle PL/SQL
Duties and responsibilities:•Design, implement E2E automated tests for the Product, provide technical expertise for automated testing•suite built by the Company. Participate in planning sessions.•Work with Engineering and Product in prioritizing features for automated testing
Required qualifications include:•Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience•3+ years’ experience designing and developing Selenium + C# E2E tests•Experience in the full stack from database development through front-end•Experience with Unit Testing and Mocking frameworks and concepts•Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies•Experience with GIT and JIRA or Azure DevOps (TFS)•Strong communication skills – written and verbal•Strong collaboration skills – experience working in a small-team environment•Ability to mentor Junior-level engineers in best practices•Experience with Oracle databases and Entity Framework (writing queries, invoking functions etc)•Experience with cloud technologies (Azure/AWS), and .Net Core is a plus•Experience with apps in financial domain is a plus•Experience w/database technologies – SQL, Entity Framework•Experience with testing RESTful APIs
