Reporting to the Associate Director in Industry Relations & Contracting (IRC), the primary roles of the Rebate Analyst are to understand plan formulary design and rebate potentials, perform thorough claims data analyses to ensure the accuracy of group purchasing organization (GPO) rebate processing, and establish recommendations to Clients for rebate optimization. Analytical skills to understand the impact of formulary customizations that differ from Navitus recommendations will be critical to assist in providing rebate options for future formulary strategies. The Analyst will work closely with IRC Contractors. The high-level understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturer rebate contracts will be a responsibility for this position. Additionally, the Analyst will help support the Navitus Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) process and assist and develop presentation tools as needed. The Analyst may also support the Rebate Operations submission process with key, select pharmaceutical manufacturers.

- Quickly understand Navitus' mission, strategies, objectives, products and services, and organizational relationships along with Industry Relations & Contracting goals
- Proactively build and maintain strong and effective working relationships, especially throughout IRC and the Account Management areas
- Collaborate with the Account Management teams to understand the objectives of client formulary change requests and evaluate the impact that client requests have from a contractual and savings perspective
- Partner with the IRC Contractors to understand pharmaceutical matrix contracts and strategize on formulary rebate opportunities.
- Continue the Rebate Operations submission process with key pharmaceutical manufacturers as needed
- Assist the Director/Associate Director of IRC in managing new pharmacy program initiatives and the expansion of rebate forecasting
- Support quarterly Navitus and Client P&T preparation and presentations
What our team expects from you?
- Bachelor’s degree or pharmacy technician degree with three to five years of managed care/pharmacy benefits management or pharmaceutical experience is desired
- Pharmacy technician, trade, Industry Relations, and/or analytical experience is desired. Ability to function independently as well as in a collaborative group environment. Must be comfortable communicating across multiple areas within the organization and leading cross-departmental conversations.

- The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
