In this role, you’ll be focused on coordinating and analyzing production defects and remediations. As a key member of the Program Delivery team, you will collaborate with business partners and the development team to effectively resolve system issues. What you’d be doing:

  • Maintaining a clear understanding of tickets for communication purposes: Stage, Progression, Volume Level
  • Create and manage remediation tickets as requests are received to address defects.
  • Update remediation/support ticket fields, descriptions, impact lists, and next steps throughout the ticket lifecycle.
  • Add comments to the remediation/support ticket to maintain an accurate log of all updates, changes, and necessary actions.
  • Track linked defect tickets, collaborate with Prod Support to ensure timely resolution, and verify proper testing completion.
  • Validate QA-created/executed test cases, reviewed by a BA, and run production API tests for fulfillment remediations.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to extract accurate impact lists and prepare remediation endorsement packages post-defect deployment.
  • Review the impact list for completeness and relevance to the deployed defect.
  • Maintain and update the impact list for all stakeholders throughout the remediation ticket life.
  • Manage SharePoint documentation, including creating and adjusting views for ease of use by others.
  • Keep the Program Design team updated for Rundown submission once the impact list is complete.
  • Coordinate with process team members to schedule processing by date and quantity upon Rundown completion.
  • Oversee each step of the remediation processing, acting as a project manager to ensure stakeholders follow the correct order.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in Business/Insurance, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate problems and solutions appropriately for the audience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and demonstrated critical thinking/problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to drive functional improvements in business and technical analysis.
  • Experience in Property & Casualty, with Residential or Commercial exposure preferred.
  • Proficiency in XML, SQL, JSON, and Agile development.
  • Experience with insurance policy admin sales and service systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to appropriately convey complex issues and solutions tailored to different audiences
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage large volumes of work throughout an organization.
