We are currently searching for a Head of Data Platforms Practice:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a long-term strategy for the Data Platform Practice, expanding capabilities and service offerings.
  • Lead thought leadership efforts through articles, white papers, public presentations, and webinars.
  • Drive innovation by generating, adopting, and implementing new ideas and accelerators.
  • Advise senior client executives on data governance, processing, and management, becoming their trusted advisor.
  • Lead technology assessments to help clients transition from current capabilities to target maturity, creating technology roadmaps and implementation plans.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and account management to meet the needs of new and existing customers.
  • Provide technical pre-sales services, assisting in creating proposals, SOWs, and project scoping.
  • Continuously improve consulting services by gathering lessons learned from delivery engagements.
  • Enable knowledge and skills development in Delivery teams.
  • Collaborate with technology partners to evolve frameworks and best practices.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach data platform technology consultants.
  • Maintain cutting-edge expertise by attending conferences, gaining certifications, and participating in external advisor interactions.
  • Assess and apply the latest developments in data platform technologies.

Requirements:

  • B.Tech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in data management, including data architecture, platform solution architecture, data modeling, and data security.
  • 7+ years of experience in a consulting role, leading Data Platform development initiatives.
  • Expertise in GCP-based data ecosystems and certifications (e.g., GCP Certified Professional Cloud Architect, GCP Certified Professional Data Engineer).
  • Deep expertise in modern data architectures (Data Fabric, Data Mesh, Data Lakehouse).
  • Proven track record with Big Data ecosystems and tools for data cataloging, quality, and observability.
  • Strong experience working with directors and C-level stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience in customer workshops and assessments for data platform modernization.
  • In-depth knowledge of modern technology trends, governance, and data stacks.
  • Willingness to travel (0-30%).

Desired:

  • Certifications in data management tools (e.g., Alation, Collibra, Talend, Databricks).
  • Experience in data governance models, microservices architecture, and AI in data management.
  • Expertise in master and reference data management, real-time data integration, and data security regulations.
  • Experience with additional cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Languages

  • Advanced Oral English.
  • Native Spanish.
