We are looking for a Remote/Hybrid Systems Engineer to join our exceptional SGA Dental Partners team!

SGA Dental is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead new technology efforts as a part of the infrastructure implementation and support team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience with systems administration, supporting enterprise networks, servers and geographically dispersed client environments. This role will act as a senior infrastructure architect, help to build an effective support structure through tools and serve as an escalation point for IT Support technicians. The candidate must have expert level troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on multiple projects with competing priorities simultaneously.

Position Summary:

  • Experience building secure network infrastructure including LAN/WAN.
  • Deep understanding of IT security.
  • Experience managing Office 365 environments including domain and integrations (experience converting domains a plus).
  • Experience managing projects at a senior level - has served as lead for pilot and rollout projects.
  • Leads in planning and implementing changes to infrastructure with the goal of enhancing performance.
  • Performs complex storage and server data backup, data migration and disaster recovery operations.
  • Experience with server and client OS patching and maintenance.
  • Performs complex software and operating system upgrades and track system licensing.
  • Tools and process for monitoring computer systems and networks for viruses, malfunctions, and errors.
  • Provides technical expertise and assistance on escalated tickets.
  • Experience securing vended cloud storage solutions.
  • Microsoft Active Directory environment including Group Policy.
  • Miscellaneous appliances including Backup, Email Security, Web Application Firewalls.
  • Experience with cloud server environments (ex. AWS, Azure…etc.).
  • Experience with Disaster Recovery and backup data center environments.
  • Exemplifies expert level IT support.

Requirements

Your contribution to the team includes:

  • Must have expert level experience with the above technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other technology degree highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to design a network from the ground up.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting complex systems is a requirement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must work well in a team.
  • The individual must be flexible and able to multitask between numerous and diverse tasks.
  • Experience in the Dental industry is highly desirable.
  • Applicable vendor certifications are highly desirable.

Physical / Environmental Requirements:

  • Hybrid work environment; but must be geographically located within 60 minutes of Richmond Hills, GA.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Must be able to hear staff on the phone and those who are served in-person and speak clearly in order to communicate information to patients and staff.
  • Must be able to read memos, computer screens, personnel forms and clinical and administrative documents.
  • Must have high manual dexterity.
  • Must be able to reach above the shoulder level to work, must be able to bend, squat and sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, kneel, twist/turn.
