    We partner with over 60 school districts—including Kaiser Permanente—reaching more than one million students nationwide. Our clinicians enjoy the stability of consistent referrals and a meaningful caseload, allowing you to focus on what matters most: making a real difference in students' lives.

    We're seeking compassionate, licensed mental health clinicians to provide teletherapy to students ages 11-24 throughout California. In this role, you'll deliver high-quality, evidence-based care while working alongside schools, families, and community partners to help students thrive. Every session you lead has the power to change a young person's trajectory—and that's just the beginning of the impact you'll make.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • $70–$85 per session, plus guaranteed pay for no-shows and late cancellations.

    • Flexible & Manageable Caseload: Start with a minimum of just 5 sessions per week — perfect for work-life balance. Most of our clinicians choose to provide 10 sessions per week, and we encourage you to work toward that as you settle in. Your Path to W-2 Employment & Full Benefits

    At Daybreak, we invest in clinicians who are ready to grow with us. Once you consistently reach 17 completed sessions per week, you'll have the opportunity to transition into our W-2 role, a part-time commitment that comes with the stability and benefits.

    As a W-2 employee, you'll receive:

    • 💰 Base salary of $55,000/year with the opportunity to earn over $115,000 annually through monthly session bonuses ($70 per session beyond 17/week)

    • 🏥 Comprehensive health coverage — Daybreak covers up to 90% of your medical premium (dental and vision fully covered); 65% coverage for eligible dependents

Clinicians who wish to remain as 1099 Independent Contractors are welcome to do so — we support whatever arrangement works best for your lifestyle and career goals.     Flexibility & Clinical Support

    • Fully Remote: Work from anywhere in the U.S.

    • Flexible Schedule: Set your hours Monday–Friday, 3–8 PM PST, with optional weekend availability from 9 AM–5 PM PST.

    • Administrative Support: We handle billing, credentialing, and scheduling—so you can focus on care

    • Supportive Clinical Community: Peer consultation, collaborative networks, and team discussions

    • Professional Development: Continuing education credits and ongoing training Role & Responsibilities

    • Foster strong, supportive relationships with students to create a safe therapeutic environment

    • Provide evidence-based individual teletherapy to students ages 11–24 experiencing mild-to-moderate mental health conditions

    • Provide psychoeducation to parents/caregivers Qualifications

    • Licensed Professional with LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP credentials in the State of California

    • Passion for youth mental health: Demonstrated commitment to providing culturally responsive, equitable care that honors diverse backgrounds and experiences

    • Experience working with teens and youth ages 11-24 in clinical or school settings

    • Comfortable with telehealth: Experience providing telehealth services Please note: This role is open to fully licensed clinicians only; associate and provisionally licensed clinicians are not eligible.
