Internet2 is seeking a Part Time Cloud Programs paid Intern to join our team to work alongside our team on developing and maintaining programs and services. This intern will collaborate with NET+ Program Managers and have a specific focus in creating content for the various program newsletters and event website creation. The role will generate metrics for virtual events, community calls, and high-priority services and more. The intern will update our Contact Affiliation Lists in Salesforce.
The expectation is 10-20 hours per week and is fully remote for students in the United States.

Responsibilities:
Content management - supports program participants in creating content for the Cloud Scorecard directory and institutional profiles wiki.
Technical writing - writing or drafting technical communication.
Marketing content creation – writing blog posts, articles, newsletters, communications materials, and material for social media channels.
Event planning – assisting in planning events, such as conferences and webinars, for the community.
Works with stakeholders to promote various cloud projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Academic background or demonstrated experience in business or program development, marketing and/or communication.
Current undergraduate or graduate student.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office, strong Excel skills, and/or Google Apps.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Detail-oriented.
Ability to present solutions and suggestions for operations improvements.
Willingness to learn technical tools.
The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour.
