Job Description
Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Remote Technical****Project Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position can be remote but local to Kearneysville, WV. The qualified applicant will become part of Peraton’s Infrastructure Managed Service (IMS) Program, for the United States Coast Guard (USCG). This initiative is modernizing and consolidating the engineering and operational environment under a managed service to better support the services provided to the USCG. As part of the IMS program, the Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects and initiatives across the Technical Services team.
Day to Day Work Responsibilities:
- Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
- Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
- Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions.
- Responsible for technical/operational leadership of a project Implements and coordinates network policies, procedures, and standards.
- Monitors project to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years’ experience or Master's degree with 3 years’ experience or HS Diploma/equivalent and 9 years’ experience.
- Must be local to Kearneysville, WV location and come into the office as needed.
- Must have experience in supporting large managed service environments.
- Must have experience leading large enterprise projects.
- Experience leading large cross functions project teams
- Experience with MS Project and other project management tools
- U.S. Citizenship required; must have a minimum of an active Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in enterprise modernization projects.
- Experience in managing projects in an agile environment.
- Industry standard project management certifications.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in written.

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
