Summary
HII - Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) Operations Liaison to support our government customers working in Ramstein, Germany. The RPA Operations Liaison will be instrumental in the coordination of all remotely piloted aircraft missions in support of US Air Forces in Europe (USAFE).
What You Will Do
- Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing operations and serves as a liaison between projectmanagement and planning, project team, and US Air Forces in Europe (USAFE) staff.
- Works with USAFE to identify new requirements and coordinates with Program Management to developsolutions for those requirements.
- Provides Program Management office with insight into daily operations at USAFE Headquarters and coordinatesProgram action with the USAFE Staff.
- Identify short and long-range goals and the means to achieve them with respect to USAFE ISR objectives.
- Reviews actions within the USAFE staff with an eye toward what efforts should be continued, modified, orabandoned.
- Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals andobjectives.
- Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem-solving with projectmanagers, line managers, and clients.
What We Are Looking For
- 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant progressive experience.
- 2 years on USAFE staff supporting Remotely Piloted Aircraft operations.
- Ability to interface at all levels of command and leadership on a regular basis.
- Practical interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with other internal and external organizations.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Expertise and comfortability to provide insight as the contractor to various stakeholders regarding ISR missionplanning
- Working knowledge of applicable policies, regulations, directives, and doctrine that pertain to exercise activitiesand programs in the European theatre
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain a SECRET clearance.
