
Job Description Summary The SaaS Sr. Sales Manager role for GE Vernova's Power & Energy Resources Software Team (PERS) is responsible for sales of our SaaS solutions in the attractive markets segments such as Power Generation, Oil and Gas, Metals and MIning to ensure attainment of orders and revenue and growth targets in the United States. In this Sales position, the Sr. Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities within existing and new accounts, drive prospecting and discovery assessments, strategy and account planning, deal strategy and path to close, build executive relationships. The Sr Sales Manager will work closely with the members of cross functional peers in PERS as well as other GE Vernova Business Units (GEV BU), to drive and lead growth in software sales and value-driven revenue generation. They will drive the creation and development of sales plays, healthy pipeline, growth programs, an overall sales readiness vision for territory. This role will require a motivated achiever and self-starter whose interests align with teaming with experts on staff to help maximize customer engagement, rapidly assess qualification of fit, and helping our solution to support the future of energy with regards to performance, emissions, reliability and safety of our customers' plants and operations.

Developing specialized knowledge of latest commercial developments in own area and communication skills to influence others.
Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
Required Qualifications
For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Sales & Digital Sales Direct. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
For roles in USA - Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science or relevant experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales/ commercial or relevant function
Proven exposure to Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining, Power Plant, or Energy industries, either as an industry professional or through project/client engagement
Understanding of CRM systems such as sales force
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken with strong communication skills.
This role requires willingness to travel around 30% of the time both internationally and domestically
Desired Characteristics
Strong experience in enterprise software / business applications sales preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills, to convey technical concepts to business and technical personnel
Ability to work under pressure; Take ownership of onsite activities
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
Good interpersonal and organizational skills

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $108,600.00 and $181,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: sales incentive.
