Role Overview

We are looking for a Sales Development Consultant for a six-month contract to support our sales team in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth. This role requires working closely with sales managers to manage various stages of the sales funnel and involves direct client interaction, including in-person meetings.

This role is ideal for individuals located in the United States, preferably U.S. citizens, who are willing and able to travel for client meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and Segmentation: Identify and qualify new sales opportunities by segmenting and targeting potential clients.

  • Sales Process Execution: Handle the sales process independently, including cold calling, designing email campaigns, and maintaining compliance with email regulations.

  • Lead Management: Maintain a pipeline of warm/hot leads, nurture them until conversion.

  • Sales Workflow Optimization: Use various tools to automate workflows and streamline the sales process.

  • Metrics Tracking: Monitor sales metrics and provide insights to enhance sales strategies.

  • Client Interaction: Conduct in-person client meetings as required to establish and maintain relationships.

Prerequisites

  • Education: B.Tech in CS/IT plus an MBA is preferred.

  • Experience: 2 to 4 years in software/IT sales or business development, with a focus on prospecting and cold calling.

Skills:

  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Clear communication skills, comfortable engaging with C-level executives.

  • Active listening and strong written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in CRM tools.

  • Ability to map technology solutions to business processes.

  • Role: A self-motivated individual contributor, comfortable with remote work and occasional travel for client meetings.
