About the position:

As a Sales Development Manager, you will build influential relationships with assigned accounts to achieve strategic sales, service, and end-user support objectives as assigned. Through extensive territory travel you will engage with existing accounts to build them up as well as identify new account opportunities, with a long-term focus on ensuring Dometic has a strong and balanced position in all markets within the territory. This position reports to the Director of Sales.

Requirements

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage RV Aftermarket and Industrial OEM business to achieve strategic KPI’s, including but not limited to sales market share / program promotion / product training and service development.
  • Create and maintain a development plan based upon targets and KPI’s that will be defined by management.
  • Develop and maintain account prioritized route schedules to guide travel.
  • Utilize sales reporting and territory management software tools.
  • Become technically proficient in all product categories and an expert in sales critical feature-benefits.
  • Deliver training to customers (dealers and key stakeholders) to support new product launches / product category education and eCommerce utilization.
  • Engage with customer service and other functional areas as necessary to address account issues requiring escalation and to support efforts to ensure accounts remain in good standing.
  • Build relationships with customers (dealers and key stakeholders) through participation in industry events where relevant.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements and skills:

  • Post-secondary degree in business (marketing, sales or related discipline) or 5 years commensurate experience
  • Ability to travel 30- 50% of time
  • Proficient with MS Excel and willing to learn new software/systems as introduced
