Sales Engineer Responsibilities -
- Sales and Opportunity Management:
- Identify new sales opportunities within assigned customers.
- Work cross-functionally with inside sales, operations, engineering, and quality to develop winning solutions.
- Develop business case proposals for new opportunities, outlining overall value for the customer.
- Present feasibility concerns to ensure alignment with customer expectations.
- Review proposals, provide recommendations on product improvements, and resolve customer concerns.
- Manage commercial issues for all new sales opportunities with new and existing customers, including negotiating terms, conditions, and payment terms.
- Coordinate and lead customer-facing meetings, including business proposals, annual or quarterly business reviews, Serigraph site visits, and customer site visits.
- Input and maintain all required information in CRM (Salesforce), ensuring data is current and accurate.
- Manage opportunity weighting for each potential opportunity throughout the sales cycle.
- Close business to ensure that revenue targets are achieved. Customer Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain customer relationships and secure new business.
- Act as the primary contact for customer communication and ensure adherence to SPEC requirements.
- Support Serigraph’s current quality business system. Education Requirements:
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience.
- Technical background and aptitude are preferred. Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a sales/customer-facing role.
- Experience in automotive, power sports, industrial, or commercial segments is preferred.
- Proven track record of securing new business and growing profitable sales year over year.
- Sales savvy with technical aptitude and ability to promote and sell new products to existing customers.
