Sales Engineer

Remote (Massachusetts)

The Sales Engineer is responsible for selling Tecan Liquid Handling (LiHa) products, within a specific territory. As a sales professional in the Greater Boston area, your primary responsibility will be to drive product sales. You’ll work closely with existing and new customers, understanding their unique needs, and offering tailored Tecan solutions. Your goal is to not only meet but exceed sales targets, ensuring customer satisfaction and business growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire sales process: lead generation, quotes, demos, negotiations, contracts, and closing sales.
  • Achieve sales targets and maintain profit margins.
  • Build relationships with customers and procurement departments.
  • Provide product demonstrations and customer training.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM data.
  • Address customer complaints and ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with technical services and the service team to support customers.
  • Organize and plan work schedules to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Follow safety regulations and maintain equipment.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field.
  • 3+ years of sales experience in life sciences equipment.
  • Knowledge of laboratory automation is a plus.
  • Proficient with MS Office and CRM software.
