Perficient has a career opportunity for a Salesforce DevOps Engineer in our Salesforce Practice. This is a remote position, and candidates can live anywhere in the US.

Salesforce Expertise:

  • Work closely with development teams to understand requirements and translate them into efficient Salesforce solutions.
  • Configure and customize Salesforce using declarative tools (flows, process builder, etc.).
  • Understand Single Sign-On (SSO), certificates, named credentials, and managed packages.

Git and Source Control:

  • Proficient in Git operations (branching, merging, resolving conflicts).
  • Collaborate with developers to manage code changes effectively.
  • Experience with Git workflows and best practices.

Release Management:

  • Own the end-to-end release process for Salesforce applications.
  • Utilize Copado to streamline deployment pipelines.
  • Ensure smooth transitions from development to production environments.

Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):

  • Implement CI/CD practices to automate testing and deployment.
  • Integrate Copado with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, BitBucket, GitHub).
  • Monitor and optimize deployment pipelines.

Automation and Efficiency:

  • Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency.
  • Optimize deployment orchestration using Copado.
  • Document DevOps processes and best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, etc.).
  • Copado certification (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Git and version control.
  • Experience with Salesforce flows, SSO, certificates, named credentials, and managed packages.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $64,974 to $149,880. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
