As a Salesforce Solution Architect – Healthcare you will play a key project leadership role on large scale Healthcare client implementation and optimization projects. You will be expected to possess technical knowledge of Salesforce Core, Health Cloud, and Marketing Cloud platforms, have experience identifying and defining solution architectures for Healthcare CRM clients, possess outstanding client management skills, and ensure successful implementation of projects.
You will apply your technical, analytical, interpersonal, creative thinking, business management, and leadership skills from day one. Your ideal and average billable target would be 70% billable and 30% Sales support, based on the needs of the business. What you’ll do:
Solution Architecture and Vision Delivery (70%)
- Become a trusted advisor to our clients and facilitate ongoing communications and guiding efforts to manage and exceed client expectations.
- Ability to Lead client Discovery sessions and document client requirements providing solution variations related to Healthcare projects including Customer Service call centers, Broker Portals, Broker and Inside Sales Tracking etc.
- Identify business needs and design elegant functional solutions, working closely with Technical Architects, Data Architects, and Integration Architects to ensure solutions are feasible, scalable, and efficient.
- Manage client expectations by identifying and communicating risks and trade-offs, educating on Best Practice and promoting principles of good architectural design, compliance regulations, security, and industry standards.
- Work with Horizontal team members to ensure flawless execution of the signed solution, and provide guidance on alternate options when new, changed, or expanded requirements are discovered.
Horizontal New Business Development (30%)
- Supporting pre-sales activities including participating in sales calls and proposal development.
- Articulate Horizontal Digital Salesforce Core and Health Cloud practice capabilities, offerings, and value propositions.
- Complete analysis of client business and technology needs against Salesforce features and functionality.
- Based on client requirements, define and refine high level enterprise solution architectures and scope approach leveraging Salesforce Core products which may include Marketing Cloud.
- Estimate the effort required to implement the proposed solution and define delivery approach.
- Practice Events and Training (internal and external)
- Mentoring associate Solution Architect and/or delivery team members in related activities.
- Maintain industry and ecosystem knowledge and certifications.
- Drive thought leadership and provide an innovative approach to solutions on behalf of clients.
- Lead the expansion of existing practice capabilities into emerging technologies within our core competencies.
Who you are:
- You enjoy being in front of the client and have professional services experience.
- You are confident in your ability to lead Pre-Sales activities from start through signature.
- You are deeply skilled at designing and implementing holistic, enterprise Salesforce solutions utilizing a variety of ecosystem platforms and products.
- You have the ability to work in Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel, as well as Lucid Chart, and deliver skilled presentations to clients.
- You are deeply passionate about the Healthcare vertical, including payors, providers, medical product suppliers, pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, and other related industries within the space.
What you bring:
- A passion for Healthcare and Life Sciences industries.
- 5+ years of CRM industry experience in Healthcare & Life Sciences.
- Minimum 5 years of Salesforce experience and 2 years Health Cloud experience, or extensive (3-5+ years) experience with declarative software configuration (Epic/Cerner, Veeva, etc.) in Healthcare or Life Sciences.
- Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and integrate business processes across disparate systems.
- Excellent client-facing written and oral communications skills .
- 3+ years of Salesforce consulting experience.
- Possess Salesforce Sales, Service, Health & Experience Cloud certification(s).
- Solid stakeholder management and communication skills and the ability to articulate design of transformational journeys and outcomes.
- Ability to engage with Senior and C-level clients in a business-centric, business outcome-oriented dialogue.
- Deep understanding of Payer, Provider, and “Pay-vider” member business models, terminology, and business concepts, as well as intricacies each requires from an architectural standpoint.
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited University or College.
