The Position
Our community bank client is seeking to fill a Hybrid Remote SBA Lender role in the Oshkosh, WI area. The candidate will help with the SBA lending program for the Bank.
This position offers a competitive salary of up to $120K and a full benefits package. (This is a hybrid remote position).
SBA Lender responsibilities include:
Assisting in goal setting and staffing recommendations.
Pipeline production.
Developing and maintaining a working relationship with area business brokers active in the SBA arena.
Soliciting eligible SBA loan prospects.
Structuring and pricing the loan requests to meet the guidelines within the SBA SOP Lending Policy.
Making decisions pertaining to inquiries, approvals, and requests as they apply to existing policies and procedures, keeping within assigned approval limits, and using these instances as learning tools for employee development.
Packaging loans in a manner consistent with SBA requirements.
Collecting sufficient information to underwrite the loan requests to the standards established by SBA and the Bank.
Preparing and presenting loans to the proper approval authority.
Closing the loan in a manner consistent with the SBA authorization and the policies of the Bank.
Servicing loan clients by developing and enhancing the client relationship with the Bank.
Performing additional duties as assigned or directed.

You also bring the following skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required, course of study in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics highly preferred. Knowledge of Credit Analysis is strongly preferred.
Five or more years of SBA Lending experience.
Work experience in SBA and other government-assisted lending programs, with knowledge of the SBA standard operating procedures.
Maintains current and up-to-date knowledge and continues professional development through training to maintain a high degree of competence in all matters pertaining to SBA.
Leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to build and lead a proficient SBA team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Computer (Microsoft Office), Accounting, Credit Analysis, SBA policies and procedures, Commercial banking policies and procedures, financial calculator.
