MRIoA is seeking an experienced and strategic SDLC & Agentic Delivery Lifecycle (ADLC) Governance Lead to establish, manage, and continuously improve the enterprise software and AI delivery governance framework. This role will be responsible for defining and operationalizing standards, controls, processes, metrics, and tooling that support the successful delivery of both traditional software solutions and AI-powered applications, copilots, and autonomous agents.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong combination of software delivery governance, process engineering, audit, compliance, Agile/DevOps practices, and hands-on platform administration experience. This individual will own enterprise lifecycle governance across development teams by standardizing processes, enhancing delivery visibility, implementing quality controls, and ensuring adherence to organizational and regulatory requirements.
The role will also lead the development of an enterprise Agentic Delivery Lifecycle (ADLC) framework governing the design, deployment, monitoring, and retirement of solutions, including Generative AI, AI Agents, Copilots, and Agentic AI platforms.
Major Responsibilities or Assigned Duties
Roles:
SDLC & ADLC Governance
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve enterprise SDLC and ADLC standards, policies, procedures, templates, and governance frameworks.
Establish lifecycle governance models supporting: Traditional application development, AI-enabled application, Copilot solutions, & Agentic AI systems / Multi-agent solutions
Define and manage delivery stage gates, approval processes, quality checkpoints, and governance reviews.
Maintain SDLC and ADLC process documentation, playbooks, standards, and reference materials.
Partner with development, architecture, security, QA, Product, and operations teams to ensure consistent execution of lifecycle processes.
Agentic Delivery Lifecycle (ADLC) Development
Lead the design and implementation of enterprise ADLC standards.
Define/Support governance processes for: AI use case intake and prioritization, Prompt engineering standards, Human-in-the-loop controls, Agent testing and evaluation framework, Production deployment governance, and AI observability and monitoring framework
Establish AI quality and evaluation frameworks including: Accuracy, Grounding, Hallucination monitoring, Reliability. Security and Responsible AI compliance
Develop controls for AI risk management, model traceability, and regulatory compliance.
Process Design & Continuous Improvement
Conduct process assessments and maturity evaluations across software delivery teams.
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce delivery friction, and improve engineering productivity.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging Agile, Lean, DevOps, and engineering best practices.
Facilitate process workshops, retrospectives, and governance reviews.
Lead change management initiatives supporting process adoption and organizational transformation.
Tool Administration & Platform Governance
Jira
Configure and maintain workflows, issue types, screens, permissions, automation rules, dashboards, and reporting structures.
Establish enterprise delivery and governance reporting standards.
Confluence
Design and maintain enterprise knowledge repositories, standards documentation, process libraries, and governance artifacts.
Develop templates supporting SDLC and ADLC compliance.
GitLab
Define and govern branching strategies, merge request standards, release management processes, and CI/CD controls.
Support DevOps maturity and software quality initiatives.
SharePoint
Administer governance repositories and documentation platforms.
Maintain lifecycle documentation, policies, procedures, and audit evidence.
Metrics, Reporting & Analytics
Develop and maintain enterprise SDLC and ADLC performance metrics.
Create dashboards and executive reporting to measure: Delivery predictability, Sprint effectiveness, Release frequency, Defect leakage, Change success rates, Deployment quality, Technical debt trends, Process adherence, AI adoption, Agent performance, and Responsible AI compliance
Analyze trends and provide recommendations to improve operational effectiveness and delivery maturity.
Audit, Compliance & Risk Management
Develop and execute SDLC and ADLC audit programs.
Conduct compliance reviews of projects, releases, and AI initiatives.
Assess adherence to lifecycle policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Identify process risks, control gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
Develop corrective action plans and track remediation efforts.
Support internal and external audit activities.
Audit vendor performance against defined SLAs
Own and lead vendor SOW reviews for compliance
Requirements
Skills and Experience:
8+ years of experience in SDLC governance, PMO, software engineering, DevOps, or technology delivery leadership.
5+ years of experience developing and managing enterprise software delivery processes and governance frameworks.

Experience defining KPIs, governance metrics, scorecards, and executive dashboards.
Experience performing process audits, compliance reviews, and maturity assessments.
Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience supporting AI, Generative AI, Copilot, or Agentic AI initiatives preferred.
Experience implementing governance and controls within regulated environments preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing or governing Agentic AI and Generative AI delivery processes.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field required.
Master's degree preferred.
