General Summary:

The Security Platform Specialist provides both partner-facing and internal support for ConnectWise’s security platforms. In this role, the Security Platform Specialist will provide initial triaging of support requests and manage the ticket queue to ensure that all support requests are resolved in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage a wide range of inbound support requests.
  • Provide assistance and guidance regarding the use of the ConnectWise security platforms.
  • Troubleshoot issues within the ConnectWise security platforms and supported third-party integrations.
  • Assist with building reports, rules / event notifications, and other content within the ConnectWise security platforms based on partner requests.

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:

  • Customer service focused, self-starter with an outgoing personality.
  • Experience with Managed Threat Detection (MDR) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Understanding of the Managed Service Provider and Managed Security Service Provider industries
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity controls and frameworks such as the CIS 20 and NIST CSF

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security or relevant experience.
  • 1 year of experience in a cybersecurity environment preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in an IT support environment preferred.

  • Professional office environment and / or remote
  • Some travel may be required.
