This is not an existing-customer or traditional account management role. Your focus will be on outbound sales, active customer acquisition, and building new business.
As Senior Account Executive in the AI & Solution Services Business Unit of AOE Group, you will take ownership of building new business at scale. You will work closely with technical experts to develop custom software solutions and tailored consulting services for companies facing complex digital challenges.
Systematically build new business with strategically relevant target accounts—from first contact through to closing complex project, product, or service contracts
Identify large target accounts and relevant market potential in the B2B environment, turning them into concrete sales approaches for strategic opportunities with significant revenue potential
Research relevant decision-makers, sales triggers, and customer needs, and develop tailored outreach approaches for management and C-level stakeholders
Conduct structured discovery conversations, qualify needs, decision-making structures, budgets, and next steps, and turn them into robust sales cases
Develop proposals, solution scenarios, and business cases with technical experts that are compelling from technical, commercial, and strategic perspectives
Present AOE convincingly to potential customers, lead complex negotiations, and bring high-potential deals successfully to close
Manage your pipeline with clear prioritization, strong ownership, and reliable forecasting
Several years of proven success in B2B new business sales, including complex sales cycles and IT, software, SaaS, or digital business solutions that require explanation
Experience opening up new customer potential and building, negotiating, and successfully closing deals with significant revenue potential and strategically relevant accounts
Ability to quickly understand complex topics, simplify decision-making processes for customers, and build trust with management and C-level stakeholders
Resilience, focus, and persistence throughout the sales process, remaining professional even when facing rejection
Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot, modern sales tools, and AI-based workflows
Business-fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
